Emotion and Trauma

jbuss Astrology

Emotions are not an Energy to be Controlled, they’re an Energy to be Respected and Listened to.  Without our Emotions we couldn’t keep ourself Safe, we couldn’t find Community, we couldn’t Transition from one Life phase to another.  Emotion becomes a problem when it Overwhelms all of our other Media.  We’re awakened in the middle of the night by a noise in the house, and our Body is overcome by Fear.  We become Ungrounded, and the mind is only useful for trying to figure out what the noise was and how much time we have to escape before being hacked to death by the neighborhood Samurai.

Compared to our normal State of Being, and compared to being Grounded and Centered, our Experience of our Body is entirely different when Fear grips it.  In that kind of circumstance, we want to suppress our Fear Reaction just enough to Recover all…

HuangShan – the Sea of Clouds

The Angelic “Sea of Clouds” Thank you retireediary.wordpress.com

Many readers / blogging friends thought I have travelled everywhere. The truth is that the more you travelled, the more you realize that there are many places that you haven’t visited.

HuangShan in China is a place where I have never visited.

My classmate in Chinese Calligraphy, Mr. Chung Kwok Fan, was there just last week.

The photos he showed us were some of the best I have ever seen of HuangShan.Huangshan20140420

Basically, he was several thousand feet  above sea level and viewing down the clouds and mountains below him.

It was just like a Chinese painting! Not just any painting, but a painting by a master.

The view is just surreal.

Mr. Chung has kindly agreed to my posting of this great photo.

Do you think this image warrant submitting to the National Geographic?

For those who would like to know more about HuangShan, below is an introduction from…

Sunset on the Waterfall

What is it like to take a ride on a bamboo raft, drifting near to a mystical waterfall when the sun was setting.DSCF2943A

Earlier this year, we took a trip to Yunnan and Guizhou. The Jiulong Waterfall was one of the highlights of the trip.

We didn’t have the luck of taking a ride on that bamboo raft but felt the whole scene was surreal when taking the photo. . . . . . . . . . .

_You are me and I’m you

You are me and I’m you

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

Little separate us. All people want to live.

You are me and I’m you

People who see color, race and religion. Are truly blind.
Don’t you cry for the sick child.
Don’t you hold the mother or father who lost a son or daughter.
Share tears for someone else in mourning.

You are me and I’m you.
If someone is murdered near or far.
Miles separation doesn’t make us not know less sadness.

I know every life is important.

They shot down planes. What words can you give a family to understand?
In Africa and Asia. People murdered for the sake of religion.
Brother and sister. One planet and one people.
If you kill. The blood become part of you.
Who will make the Soldier understand. They killed for land…

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil

We are normal, everyday hard-working people with a common hobby, blogging. We hail from far and wide. We reside in different lands, on different continents. We speak different languages, eat different foods, and are of varying ages, professions, and religious and cultural backgrounds.

We do have one thing in common…

We believe that terrorist attacks, wherever they may be perpetrated; whether in France, Tunisia, Canada, Iraq, or in Denmark, Turkey, UK, Algeria, Yemen, USA, Lebanon, or in the skies over Egypt, or in India, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Kuwait, Libya, Bangladesh, Syria, or Mali are nothing less than attacks on humanity itself. The list is long, and probably many more besides. In every place, in every country, we, as a community of human beings, are always the innocent victims.

However, we, as members of this humanity, have found we have much more, not less, in common than those who seek to polarise our global community through indiscriminate murder of our fellow brothers and sisters.

These attacks are carried out in the name of, or in support of, a cause few of us, irrespective of religious conviction, can even start to comprehend. Murder is murder, irrespective of whatever motive or cause. As a community of bloggers, standing together for peace, we say simply this…

We will not be separated or forced to cease our friendships.

We will not change our ways – we are happy as we are.

We are all different, and proudly so, and stand together as one.

We respect each other’s right to life.

We want to live in peace.
