Finding Mindfulness On Your Mobile

Great information! Thank you Angel.

Gemma's Journey

I wrote this as part of a  job application that I sadly did not get. So I thought that I would post it on here 🙂

Our lives can be constantly on demand and we never really get to take time out for ourselves and when we do it means we have to pay loads of money for classes. Well not many more, turns out you can find mindfulness on your smartphone all for FREE.

What most people say causes anxiety and stress can now have the opposite effect and help us to chill out and find to improve our well being and mindfulness.

ASMR which stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian is the in thing at the moment. It would seem that many of us are watching videos on our phones of people stroking the camera lens with makeup brushes, flinger fluttering (whatever that is), whispering sweet nothings into…

The Good Vibes Only Roadshow – Stand Up For What You Believe In!!

The Good Vibes Only Roadshow

Stand Up For What You Believe In!!  Absolutely!!

In my lifetime, there have been many times, I’ve moved on from situations that were toxic; employment and relationships.  In doing so, some individuals would say, “you are running, instead of dealing”, or “now they are winning!”

This is not the case!  I simply Stood Up For What I Believed Inand followed my “own” path!  We do not need to “settle” for a toxic environment; you can and you are allowed to follow your own path.  This path will bring you Peace, Happiness, and Comfort!

By standing up for what you believe in, you are caring about yourself and loving yourself, and truly that is all that matters!  Greatness will come to those who seek out what your soul is craving!  When you are happy in your life, then all those who you keep close to your heart, will be happy…

Get Lost In What You Care About…

Are you struggling to simplify your life?

I get it. You’ve got a lot on your plate. You have a bunch of tasks, to-do’s, appointments, interests, and issues. Same here. We may be able to do it all, but we can’t do it all at once.

Everything can’t matter at the same time.

It can’t all have your attention.

Seth Godin wrote that only ten words of the 1000 we write will get attention. I’ve already written more than 70. Are you still reading?

simplify your life

If you notice that you’ve been skimming email or books or other things in your life, consider what you are allowing in — into your life, into your brain and into your heart. Next, think about what’s most important to you right now. Where does that fall on your list? Is it even on the list?

If you let less in, could you give more of yourself to what’s most important? Could you trade some of your skimming for a deep dive?

How might that change your life?

If you want to simplify your life, dive into the most important thing.

Think about the most stressful area of your life. If you could simplify that one thing, it would likely simplify everything else.

Here are a few things that might be stressful in your life. Pick one. If you struggle with all of them, still pick just one.

Then dive in.

Health: 8 things to consider if you are sick and tired.

Debt: Becoming debt-free: a 21-day guide to help you get started.

Clutter: Decluttering 101: 10 rules to help you live with less stuff.

Work: 7 things to consider if you hate your job.

Busyness: The essential practice of doing nothing.

Boundaries: Setting boundaries and what to do if you feel guilty for saying no.

Wardrobe: 10 steps to end closet chaos (and what you must give up to be free).

Mind: One simple way to declutter your mind.

Heart: Heart calling: a wake up call for the real you.

Start with one of the resources above and make that one thing your priority. Feed that change every single day with tiny steps. Choose consistency over intensity. Don’t worry about how long it takes. Dismiss your self-doubt and negative feedback from the people around you. Dismiss it and dive deeper.

Skimming doesn’t serve you. It distracts you.

Choose deeper over wider and immerse yourself in what matters to you.

Get lost in it what you care about. That’s where you’ll find everything.
