For most people, their spiritual teacher is their suffering. Because eventually the suffering brings about awakening. Eckhart Tolle

There is nothing noble

I say if I’m beautiful….

When we feel unsure of ourselves, or self-conscious, it’s easy to look for answers in the people around us. We see how other people treat us, realize what they think of us, and let those opinions define how we feel and act. However, if you catch yourself doing this, it’s important to break the habit…

“If you want to soar in life, you must first learn to F.L.Y. (FIRST LOVE YOURSELF)”-Mark Sterling

Saw this on IG a while back (like all other things lol) and thought, “Damn, I’m the one holding me back!” Don’t get me wrong, I love myself now but I wasn’t always this way. I never hesitated to judge my characteristics or physical traits harshly and thought nothing of it. I tried to change my body and habits but somehow always ended up right where I started. These days, I’m well aware of my accomplishments and constantly asking myself, “how can I make myself and hopefully someone else feel this way regularly?” I’ve adapted a few great habits over the years. Keep in mind… It’s simple, not easy.

  1. Spring Cleaning:

Filthy thoughts are the enemy of success. Clean ‘em up! If you’re consistently saying things like “I’m fat” or “I’m broke” DAILY…

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON YOU?

You

What impression are you making upon yourself?

When you wake up in the morning, do you thank God that you get to be You, joyful for another day of prospecting gold from life’s opportunities?

Or, do you roll over taste the sandpaper morning breath in your mouth, and say to yourself, “Oh, it’s you again, another day stuck in this rut?”

What reputation have you made with yourself — the one who’s in charge, gets things done, and is masterful with their energy — living from the causal plane?

Or are you the tail, being yanked around by your own habits, addictions, and routines — often feeling like a victim, living on the effect side of the coin?

Your Angels say that you can change your rep, rebrand amongst yourself, and become someone you trust.

Trust to follow your dreams. Trust to be free, have fun, get things done. Trust to make the money, find the clients, create the art, the music, the content of your heart.

You can flip the story, sing a new song, become who you want to be, do what you want to do, and have what you want to have.

Heads or Tails? As we often say, the choice is yours.

“Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.”
~ Nora Ephron
My Angels, YOU are worth more than you can possibly realize!  Trust in yourself, Love yourself, and above ALL have Faith in yourself.  Live your life and have fun.  Trust your inner instincts and know your Angels are with you Always and Guiding you.
Always with Light and Love!

All is Well – Tribute to My Grandad

Tadhg's avatarTadhg Ó Ciardha Music

“All is Well” is an American hymn, which dates back to the 1840’s. I first heard it from the album of the same name by Sam Amidon (one of the best performers around right now in my opinion.) The narrative of the song describes the process of accepting death, from the perspective of a person on their journey into the afterlife. Sam’s version features lush orchestra and I thoroughly recommendlistening to it. Thomas Bartlett aka. Doveman also does a great version on piano. I recorded my acapella version during my first experience in a professional studio setting last Wednesday.

This song holds a very special meaning for me. When my granddad died back in October, this was the last song which I sang to him on his death-bed. I also subsequently performed this song at his funeral. My granddad was a man renowned for his kind and gentle nature, he…

You Can’t Always Get What You Want, But…

“You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find you get what you need.” ~The Rolling Stones
Screen Shot 2017-04-04 at 1.17.22 PM

Right now, millions of people suffer on our planet because what we want distracts us from what we actuallyneed. The Rolling Stones made this observation decades ago, yet still we struggle.

For example, you may want to be admired by others, to gain a high status job, make a lot of money, have a successful career and buy a big house.

Unfortunately, such dreams could make you miserable. What we need for happiness is work that feeds our souls, that helps us to improve skills and grow, that provides us with a living but also makes us happier and wiser human beings.

Here’s another example. Because of the competitive “rat race” mentality of modern life, many people look forward to their…

Mindful travel The maze to the side of Joggins Fossil Centre. (Sandra Phinney)

May you travel in an awakened way,
Gathered wisely into your inner ground;
That you may not waste the invitations
Which wait along the way to transform you.

May you travel safely, arrive refreshed,
And live your time away to its fullest;
Return home more enriched, and free
To balance the gift of days which call you.

~ John O’Donohue

Whether your journey is over land and sea

Or by way of your inner landscape

May these words lighten the way

And help you to find your middle ground

Bringing new awareness and readiness for whatever comes next
