BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY
“Bohemian Rhapsody” is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by Freddie Mercury for the band’s 1975 album A Night at the Opera.
It is a six-minute suite, consisting of several sections without a chorus: an intro, a ballad segment, an operatic passage, a hard rock part and a reflective coda.
The song is a more accessible take on the 1970’s progressive rock genre. It was reportedly the most expensive single ever made at the time of its release, though the exact cost of production cannot be determined.

SEARCHING FOR SPRING, PART 5: Red Rock Canyon State Park (CA)
My Spring 2017 search for wildflowers drew me to California’s Red Rock Canyon State Park a couple of times. I was hoping for a repeat of the glorious display of Desert Dandelions I had seen back in Spring 2015. Alas, that was the not the case.
But there were flowers to augment the iconic iron-laden sandstone that welcomes visitors to the state park. It was a relaxing afternoon—and I might go back again later this spring to see what else might be in bloom.
The iconic cliffs and buttes have been used in many movies and television shows over the years, including Buck Rogers (TV series), The Big Country, The Outlaw, Jurassic Park and 40 Guns to Apache Pass (Audie Murphy’s last film). For size comparison, the “little” mushroom like formation is 25 feet tall.

Ebor and the Waterfall Way

Continuing our drive along the Waterfall Way:
We drive on to the hamlet of Ebor about another half hour away and a gentle uphill climb most of the way. We can feel that we are on the top of the Great Dividing Range now. The views over the dairy farms are idyllic. Ebor is tiny, just a few houses, a pub, a cafe and an old servo but hidden behind the town the Guy Fawkes River plunges 115 metres in two drops to the canyon below. The falls are mesmerising and the path along the canyon rim is a great bush walk. There are people abseiling off the canyon walls and a friendly little kookaburra lets us photograph him.

I love feathers their lightness and their beautiful colors that distinguish the beauty of birds. A feather inspire in so many ways not just for a painting and illustrations often are beautiful subjects for photography or poetry. I like to collect feathers that I find lost in nature, there is always something special about them.

Today’s word prompt for the monthly challenge at doodlewash is “Hummingbird”.
I see beautiful hummingbirds green color with red head, I see them daily flying around the backyard and posing on flowers and tree’s branches! They are so tiny like two inches and they fly super fast! They make a very cute sound. Today my painting portrays a colorful hummingbird. I made this painting without my usual ink outlines but just watercolor. Today is also #DrawABirdDay I think that in our #worldwatercolorgroup we still celebrating this each 8th of the month, if we still do my Hummingbird join that event too. ❤
