3 Thoughts – Overcome Stress, Relax Instead
I celebrate my tears
A Simply Beautiful Poem! – “Celebrate Tears”
For the little girl who was put in the corner
With the hypnotic sway of the pointing finger
“Don’t you dare cry”
Over and over
…like a lullaby
I celebrate my tears
For the years of pushing them down
To a dungeon I forgot about
Because
“Tears are a sign of weakness”
So I smiled harder and forced them into secret
I celebrate my tears
Because when my baby died
Everyone was allowed to lose their minds
Except me
I was positioned to remain
“Nice and neat”
And keep tears hidden
In between the sheets
When he is passed out asleep
In the shower for hours screaming
As long as no one was home
…to listen
I celebrate my tears because the
Chains are being broken
And my tears are the ones seeking their freedom!
They run down my cheeks
In an overzealous reaction

Two Roads : A Poem
I walked down a new road.
Full of beauty and leisure,
There was a hole in the footpath. I slipped in.
Filth, mud, and garbage inside.
I stand up waste and weak.
It was not me. Shame.
I walked down the same road.
Full of beauty and leisure,
I pledged not to see them this time.
There was the hole in the footpath. I slipped in again.
I cannot believe I was in the same filth.
It was not me. Shame.
I walked down the same road again.
Albeit my eyes were open,
There was that hole in the footpath.
However, I felt in . . . It became a habit.
It was my weakness.
I went out quickly. Shame.
Today, morning I started walking for the same destination,
I know, I cannot control myself,
I am the responsible for my did.
Deep down in my heart I feel, I am…

Suggestions
Distracting the Mind…
So I thought I would take today and write about some suggestions for distracting the mind while anxious or suffering from a panic attack. I cannot guarantee that all of these (or any of these) ideas will help you as we all find different things helpful (please make sure the things you find helpful are healthy), but I thought I would try to help. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions or if you have experience with mine.
- Play some Labyrinth Spill. While this game isn’t easy to bring with you everywhere, it is a good game for distracting the mind since you have to focus on the game and not much else. I understand that not everyone may have the game, but if you’re able to purchase it, I think it might be helpful. I know that I’ve found it helpful. If you’re not familiar with…

I Love BOOKS!
Hayley Igarashi posted this awesome article on Goodreads on 29 September 2015. I just had to share it with all of my book loving friends!
What would the world look like if book lovers were in charge? We asked you on Facebook and Twitter, and after reading your answers, we’re ready to live in that world today. Check out the top responses—we think you’ll want to live there, too.
If book lovers ruled the world…
1. “Every rainy day would be Stay Home and Read a Book Day.” (A J MacDonald Jr)
2. “We would measure life by chapters, not minutes. Example: I’ll be there after a cup of coffee and two chapters.” (Rebecca Brewster)
3. “There would be a library on every corner…In other words, a library inside every Starbucks.” (Renee Bradshaw)
4. “We would get a free ebook version when…
