OUR ONENESS

Angels-in-the-sky

May the truth of your soul

rise to the surface

through the injured layers of your past

Angel-clouds

Express itself in full adornment

on Angel’s wings

forming in the sky

Flying-Angel-Cloud

And speak of love for humanity

So that we may

Recognize our oneness

Blessitude!

I was so excited to see these beautiful clouds in the sky yesterday!  It looked like Angels were flying around and they were so happy to show their beauty.  Maybe it is necessary for the Angels to remind us that we are all connected.  We are all ONE.  We all share this wonderful life, incredible planet, and the air that we breathe.

May humanity recognize the truth of our existence.  In Peace, I Pray…

Lorrie ❤

September Grace

Fear No Evil by Raymond Roy. #writephoto

Shackled to a 4×4 beam. Shoulders ached. 12 hours earlier, The Pharisees had returned a verdict of guilty. Guilty of not following doctrine. For daring to question ritualistic antiquited practices. Immediately, theystrapped the timber behind my neck and across my shoulders sent me off into the desert. Feet raw, and head throbbing, I approached what seemed a porthole, I could see a green valley on the other side. You could hear the bubbling sound of a stream. Just to the left of the entryway, aprominent hieroglyph was etched. “With burdens of the world, no man shall pass and enter.
There was no way the large timber would pass through the porthole. Digging deep, I proceeded to bang the beam against the granite walls. Skin rubbed raw, freshly burst blisters stinging from salty sweat and blood. One final thrust and I was free. Finding my balance, I…

“It’s Been Awhile” by Raymond Roy

goroyboy's avatargoroyboy's Blog

It’s been a while since I was on my knees….

Just as I thought the world is only getting colder,
Bowing my head, I felt the weight of the world off my shoulders.

It reminded me humility waits patiently, but opens the door on bended knee,

as thankfulness, comes naturally.
Clasped hands pressed together in this place

Reminded me to seek, a state of grace.
As I finished,

I had a stubborn smile as I remembered, it had been a while……..It’s been a while since I was on my knees.

Peace.

I lift my eyes

A Poem by Coyote Poetry

"

We need to open our eyes and find the good in each day.

"

                                I lift my eyes.

Barren cold and heartless world.
Fear had tarnish laughter and opportunity for friendship.

People surviving like the living dead.
Few glimpses of emotion.
People looking forward and blinded to the people around them.

We have become ghosts and alone.
Once love was the reward of a good life.
Now loneliness and separation is okay.
“One is a lonely number.”

I tell people.
Lift your eyes.
Reach for the sky.
Watch the beauty of the clouds and the sun.
Put your feet in the running river.
Sing and dance with strangers.
Nothing is lost.  If nothing is gained.

A locked door.
Allowed no-one in.
One day we will wished we open the door.
Danced a thousand dances. Had a million sweet kisses tasted.
Embraced…

Hue Tombs: Opulence for Eternity

A Glimpse of Sung An Palace at Minh Mang’s Tomb

Beginning in the early 19th century, much of present-day Vietnam was once again unified after being divided by rivaling feudal lords for centuries. The Nguyen dynasty, the last dynasty in the history of Imperial Vietnam, ruled the country for more than one hundred years, a period of time marked by increasingly assertive French colonial might in the region. The palace in Hue witnessed changing tones of successive emperors toward the European power’s influence, from hostility in the early decades of the Nguyen dynasty’s rule to outright subjugation toward its final years. However, regardless of their different stances, all Nguyen emperors made sure their final resting places around the capital were showered in opulence.

Minh Mang

In 1820, Minh Mang, the fourth son of the first emperor of the Nguyen dynasty, ascended the throne at the age of 29. His 21…
