Success is something all people aspire to. It is the signal that our efforts have been allowing us to move forward to achieving the things we want in our lives. Accomplishments could be personal or professional but one of the best ways to guide yourself toward success is to ask yourself the right questions about how you are progressing each day. This is a shift in consciousness for most people. Either you are drifting on a river going where life takes you or you are steering your raft in the direction of your success. The paddle you steer is the questions you ask yourself. Horses and burros built this country. They deserve the care of loving owners and freedom on the range.
Domesticated for millennia, horses still have the brains and bodies of prey animals—the instinct to bolt at the hint of danger at a speed (up to 40 miles per hour) that can carry them to safety. Burros are nearly as fast, but use their intelligence to assess threats before fleeing.
The Prevent All Soring Tactics (PAST) Act would amend the Horse Protection Act to end the failed system of industry self-policing, strengthen penalties and make other reforms necessary to finally end this torture. Urge your U.S. Representative to pass the PAST Act.

Most think being haunted requires a creaky old house where a person died unexpectedly. The shock of a fall, suicide, or murder traps them between our world and the next. They believe these lost souls spend their days shackled to a place and a moment in time.
That’s not always how it happens.
My house wasn’t haunted. I was.
A while ago, a high school friend recounted her experience with shadowy ghosts in their turn-of-the-century home. I envied her. I thought it would be cool to see something so extraordinary. I wondered if I would scream and lay awake night after night knowing I was watched by sleepless souls.
