NERVES – WHAT NERVES?

Sat Nam Dear Ones-

Every time you come to this Earth, you have an instant relationship with every soul-body who’s wanting to know what you know . . . to master the human technology you’ve mastered. Then there’s that pesky thing called timidity, nervousness, and intimidation that pays you a visit. This is not a bad thing, it has a bad reputation, but it’s not a bad thing. When you’re nervous, and intimidated, you’re nerves are aware of the importance of the moment . . . there’s tremendous energies igniting inside you to deliver what’s to be delivered. This also demonstrates that you’re the person with something of value to deliver. Break it down . . . the word is nervous . . . it’s about the nerves . . . the nerves carry messaging, information, and energy to deliver the momentum to the moment. Like when you’re going on a journey in your car, you make sure there’s sufficient gas (enough energy) . . . this is exactly what’s taking place in your body. When you have a journey — an assignment to carry out — the nervous system makes sure you have a full tank of energy. This is called being nervous, but it’s not a bad thing, it’s a fully energized thing. Over the recent centuries, it’s been thought of as a discomfort . . . and the past few centuries have been focused on achieving creature-comforts. But when you’re born on this Earth, you’re here to deliver the lessons you’ve learned to those who’ve been waiting lifetimes to learn them . . . your tank fills up for the lessons to be delivered and fulfilled . . . the sensation is called “being nervous.” There’s that saying amongst actors . . . “If you are not nervous before going out on stage, you’re going to fall flat.” You need a full tank of energy to go out onto the stage of life and deliver.

Our prayer is that whenever you’re nervous, you know that you’re essential to the moment; instead of branding this feeling as bad, reshape it into your best friend; understand this as a message from infinity — you’re being prepared for your destiny as a teacher . . . capture the pure nervous energy in the sails of your attitude and fly with it.

My Angels, I share this interesting email with you on behalf of Guru Singh & Guruperkarma Kaur ~ being nervous in any situation is natural and only human.  It’s what makes life… real and, has you in the moment/present.  Having nerves and being nervous is exciting, frustrating, and yet necessary all at the same time.

Enjoy you day Angels!!  Always with Light & Love!

ARE YOU A MINIMALIST?

I have gotten into the habit for a “long time” now to go through all of my things once or twice a year and donate anything that I have not used, worn, watched, etc. within a year. Why?  Because it is just stuff that is lingering and truly… if it was that important for me to use and have I would be using it more often than not.  So, it’s just stuff taking up space.

Everything we own can be placed in three piles.

Essentials. Few possessions should fall into this pile. These are the necessities we can’t live without: food, shelter, clothes. While the specifics change for each person, most of our needs are universal.

Nonessentials. In an ideal world, most of the things we own would fit in this pile. These are the objects we want in our lives because they add value. Strictly speaking, I don’t need a couch, a bookshelf, or a dining table in my livingroom, but these items enhance, amplify, or augment my experience of life.

Junk. Sadly, most of our things belong in this pile. These are the artifacts we like—or, more accurately, think we like—but they don’t serve a purpose or bring us joy. The average American home contains more than 300,000 items, and most of it is junk. While this junk often masquerades as indispensable, it actually gets in the way of a more meaningful life.

Of course, the personal effects in these piles are different for everyone. The widgets that add value to my life might be junk to you, and vice versa. The key, then, is to continue to question the things we bring into our lives, and to question the things we hold onto, because the stuff that adds value today might be tomorrow’s junk.

ANGEL WINDS

ANGEL WINDS.png

A little Angelic note from our dear Guru Singh… Always with Light & Love ANGELS!!

Sat Nam Dear Ones-

‘Angel winds’ — the loft beneath your life when moments threaten to become heavier. Seemingly out of nowhere, there’s a lift that’s completely visceral . . . emotionally and physically. This arrives within complete surrender — the grace to embrace faith. The faith where the cosmos appears as intelligent, intuitive and constantly ready . . . it always has your back. This wind at your back, places lift under your life, to ride the wave of time at its sweetest point. You’re completely without a footprint of unnecessary effort — the movement of your life is already in motion. One of the gateways to this faith is forgiveness . . . the giving forward — forward-giving — of dead moments from the past into living moments of now. You’re able to capture the complete force of momentum . . . the complete force of nature which births each particle of now. Life becomes effortless — you experience breath as being breathed for you — connections as already connected. Enter the ‘infinite stranger’, the doer of all things — a servant of your mastery, available inside your surrender. This is the irony; the dichotomy; the puzzle . . . “the way of the way” professed in the Tao. This “way of the way”  — where effort is effortless; aging a concept without application, and words flow from your intentions with ease.

Our prayer is that you take advantage of this advantage no matter what your life is about; that you realize the Cosmos has your back and you’ve got this; that you’re willing to surrender to these forces far greater than your efforts, and experience the compassionate embrace buried inside everything around you . . . the ‘angel winds’.

Always with Sacred Love, Blessings, Prayer & Gratitude…Sat Nam,
Guru Singh & Guruperkarma Kaur

FIND YOUR MIDDLE PATH

Good Day Angels!  A little Light & Love from Guru Singh…

Guru Singh.png

Sat Nam Dear Ones-

The “music of the spheres” — the “voices of angels” — the “inner voice of clairaudience” . . . all pathways through the labyrinth of the inner world into dimensions beyond the senses. This inner world has keys to a vast assortment of these realms in the multiverse . . . keys that have been around since the beginning of matter, but rarely noticed by the busy human senses. Human beings have been evolving through millions of years to this very point of being able to access and utilize these keys. The sacred writings say these keys will appear in the moments of great chaos . . . this is now. These keys are to the worlds of the mystics and the masters, and now these worlds are to be yours. Your job — working within the structure of your Earthly life — is to learn the practices that allow you to explore this evolution . . . to use these keys; to open the doors of perception, and access these realms of peace and calm.

You are to build the human future from these dimensions; recreate this peace on the Earth while living an extraordinary life. This means you must find stillness in moments for contemplation and meditation . . . these ‘still’ moments are found both internally and externally. This stillness is known as ‘sunia’ to the mystics and masters . . . ‘sunia’ means ‘deep listening’. When you deeply listen to any moment, you enter the world that the Buddha spoke of . . . “the middle path.” Yogi Bhajan called this, being at the point of “boredom” in his description of the ‘21 Stages of Meditation’. This kind of ‘boredom’ is the second stage of meditation’s first journey in these sacred teachings . . . this is where you explore the crystalline nature of your ‘Self’.

Our prayer is that you find your middle path; that you experience the stillness of this sacred boredom, and do not react or attempt to get out of it, but follow its path into the crystalline nature of your deeper ‘Self’. There you can hear the “music of the spheres” — the “voices of angels” — guiding you into the sacred, peaceful, highly creative worlds that are always here, there and everywhere.

CONSCIOUS INK

Have you ever thought about getting a tattoo, but never really (1) wanted the pain involved and (2) we not sure about having something permanent on your body.  Well, in order to see if I would really even like it I decided to try this… consciousink.com

Here is a little about Conscious Ink:

“TEMPORARY ON THE SKIN. INDELIBLE ON THE SOUL.

Can a temporary tattoo leave a lasting impression on our disposition? Solidify our intentions and affirmations? Make a permanent mark on the world? Crazy as it may seem to some, Conscious Ink founder Frank Gjata, offers an enthusiastic yes! Conscious Ink is on a mission is to spread love and raise consciousness around the world, one body at a time!

Of course, these are no ordinary tats. And we’re no ordinary temporary tattoo company. In fact, we’re not a temporary tattoo company at all. We’re a consciousness company that utilizes temporary tattoos, hats, and everything we can get our hands on, to support people on their path!

Conscious Ink Manifestation Temporary Tattoos consist of a dream list of positive words, inspiring quotes, healing affirmations and empowering invitations. Even at the most basic level, these messages can have a profound effect on us by simply reminding us of our intentions as we go about our day. Not to mention how they may impact those fortunate enough to get a glimpse of your provocative ink and its message. Perhaps, gifting them with the exact sign they need in that exact moment! Pretty cool.

Of course, the influence of these positive messages can extend much deeper. Read about the latest research on the mind/body connection here. (See videos on Dr. Emoto’s research on how even water molecules are impacted by our thoughts, words, and feelings.)

Now let’s consider aesthetics for a minute. Plain and simple, these are beautiful tattoos that look like the real thing. We don’t think there’s anything superficial about beauty. Each Conscious Ink Manifestation Tattoo has been thoughtfully designed specifically to convey the essence of the word, quote or affirmation.

Aside from never having to worry about getting your Conscious Ink tattoo painfully removed, another benefit of the temporary aspect is that you can change them out as often as your mood, or as you shift from one intention to another. Nor will you get immune from the power of the messages like you might if they were permanent. Our tattoos are safe, non-toxic, and exceed safety standards for the US/FDA, Canada and the EU. Made in the USA. They contain no animal products. No testing on animals.

So join us! Let’s raise our consciousness, so we can uplift the world!”

As for me, I purchased a few different ones, but am trying out the below to see how it looks …

ANGELIC INK

I have it on my wrist and so far I like it.  8)  It reminds me of ALL my Angels that surround me and look after me.  It reminds me to keep the Faith, stay Positive, and always “look up” because you never know what you’ll see.

ENLIGHTENMENT

en·light·en·ment  (inˈlītnmənt,enˈlītnmənt) : the action of enlightening or the state of being enlightened.

Have you ever wondered what else there is to learn about Enlightenment and/or where it even came from or started?  Thank you to the History Channel for opening our eyes and inspiring all of us even more so than we could have ever imagined … https://www.history.com/topics/enlightenment

European politics, philosophy, science and communications were radically reoriented during the course of the “long 18th century” (1685-1815) as part of a movement referred to by its participants as the Age of Reason, or simply the Enlightenment. Enlightenment thinkers in Britain, in France and throughout Europe questioned traditional authority and embraced the notion that humanity could be improved through rational change. The Enlightenment produced numerous books, essays, inventions, scientific discoveries, laws, wars and revolutions. The American and French Revolutions were directly inspired by Enlightenment ideals and respectively marked the peak of its influence and the beginning of its decline. The Enlightenment ultimately gave way to 19th-century Romanticism.

The Enlightenment’s important 17th-century precursors included the Englishmen Francis Bacon and Thomas Hobbes, the Frenchman Renee Descartes and the key natural philosophers of the Scientific Revolution, including Galileo, Kepler and Leibniz. Its roots are usually traced to 1680s England, where in the span of three years Isaac Newton published his “Principia Mathematica” (1686) and John Locke his “Essay Concerning Human Understanding” (1689)—two works that provided the scientific, mathematical and philosophical toolkit for the Enlightenment’s major advances.

Locke argued that human nature was mutable and that knowledge was gained through accumulated experience rather than by accessing some sort of outside truth. Newton’s calculus and optical theories provided the powerful Enlightenment metaphors for precisely measured change and illumination.

There was no single, unified Enlightenment. Instead, it is possible to speak of the French Enlightenment, the Scottish Enlightenment and the English, German, Swiss or American Enlightenment. Individual Enlightenment thinkers often had very different approaches. Locke differed from Hume, Rousseau from Voltaire, Thomas Jefferson from Frederick the Great. Their differences and disagreements, though, emerged out of the common Enlightenment themes of rational questioning and belief in progress through dialogue.

Centered on the dialogues and publications of the French “philosophes” (Voltaire, Rousseau, Montesquieu, Buffon and Diderot), the High Enlightenment might best be summed up by one historian’s summary of Voltaire’s “Philosophical Dictionary”: “a chaos of clear ideas.” Foremost among these was the notion that everything in the universe could be rationally demystified and cataloged. The signature publication of the period was Diderot’s “Encyclopédie” (1751-77), which brought together leading authors to produce an ambitious compilation of human knowledge.

It was an age of enlightened despots like Frederick the Great, who unified, rationalized and modernized Prussia in between brutal multi-year wars with Austria, and of enlightened would-be revolutionaries like Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson, whose “Declaration of Independence” (1776) framed the American Revolution in terms taken from of Locke’s essays.

It was also a time of religious (and anti-religious) innovation, as Christians sought to reposition their faith along rational lines and deists and materialists argued that the universe seemed to determine its own course without God’s intervention. Secret societies—the Freemasons, the Bavarian Illuminati, the Rosicrucians—flourished, offering European men (and a few women) new modes of fellowship, esoteric ritual and mutual assistance. Coffeehouses, newspapers and literary salons emerged as new venues for ideas to circulate.

The French Revolution of 1789 was the culmination of the High Enlightenment vision of throwing out the old authorities to remake society along rational lines, but it devolved into bloody terror that showed the limits of its own ideas and led, a decade later, to the rise of Napoleon. Still, its goal of egalitarianism attracted the admiration of the early feminist Mary Wollstonecraft and inspired both the Haitian war of independence and the radical racial inclusivism of Paraguay’s first post-independence government.

Enlightened rationality gave way to the wildness of Romanticism, but 19th-century Liberalism and Classicism—not to mention 20th-century Modernism—all owe a heavy debt to the thinkers of the Enlightenment.

Angelic Encounter During Car Accident

Pastor John Boston was driving down the road when another car crossed the center line and came barreling toward him. The pastor swerved to miss the vehicle and struck a utility pole, sending a live transformer crashing onto his car. Immediately the metal and glass began to buckle on the intense heat from thousands of volts of electricity. His 4-year-old daughter, who was with him, was trapped inside the burning car. The seat belt was stuck and the door wouldn’t open. That’s when a scruffy looking stranger came out of nowhere and easily opened the smashed door. The man removed him from the car and walked him 20 feet away from the vehicle to safety before the car exploded in flames.

“He said my name is Johnny, the police are almost here and I can’t be here when they get here but you’re gonna be okay,” said Pastor Boston. “And then the man was gone.”

He said that people who tried to rationalize the situation thought the circuit breaker simply tripped and Johnny fled because of a sketchy past. However, firefighters say there are some aspects of what happened that defy logic, reason and science. Pastor Boston is convinced he encountered an angel that day.

Girl Meets Angel After Falling 30 Feet

Annabel Beam was only nine years old when she miraculously survived a 30-foot fall. While she was playing with her sisters outside their Texas home, she plummeted inside a hollowed out cottonwood tree. An emergency helicopter rushed her to a hospital in Forth Word, where brain and spinal injury teams prepped for Annabel’s arrival but astonishingly, Annabel was unscathed.

After the accident, Annabel began describing religious visions she had while she was unconscious. She says that she met a guardian angel during the incident.

“I started to wake up in the tree and I could hear the fireman’s voices. And I saw an angel that looked very small, like a fairy.”

The angel then winked and he told her, “I’m going to leave you now and everything is going to be okay.”

The angel stayed with her the entire time, shining a light so she could see until she was rescued.

In the Hands of an Angel

He was just seven years old when his 5-year-old cousin, Chetty was sick with cancer and later passed away. At the time, his family didn’t want to talk about the death. They told him to keep quiet, despite the situation devastating him. Whenever his family went to Chetty’s home for visits, he’d always ask to play on the swing with him.

After Chetty died, he went to his house for a visit. In his loneliness, he decided to go outside and sit on the swing they had always played on. As he sat there thinking about how things used to be, Chetty walked up to him and an angel was holding his hand. The angel had beautiful blonde hair and was dressed in a long white gown, never saying a word, just smiling. Chetty looked at him and said, “I’m not in pain no more.” He and the angel turned and walked until they simply faded away.

(4)

Angel in Choir

Margaret Jones from Lancashire, U.K., claims she has had a very specific experiences with angels – one of which purportedly unfolded at her church 20 years ago while she was singing in a choir. She felt the pressure of what seemed like a human hand touching her own hand. As she was standing on the edge of the choir, she assumed that the lady, Deborah, who had been playing the organ, had come over to join them; so she thought nothing of it. The hand then left hers and a few moments later she opened her eyes and was surprised to see that Deborah was still sitting at the organ, and wasn’t beside her. It was after the service that a fellow congregant told Jones that an angel was next to her and touched her hand.

Angels at Crash Site

Lillie Leonardi’s story may seem unbelievable to some, but the former FBI officer, who retired after suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder linked to her role in the aftermath of the September 11 terror attacks is adamant about what she witnessed. Leonardi said she saw legions of angels guarding the Pennsylvania site where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed. When she arrived at the site just three hours after the crash, she was struck by numerous elements. She was so startled, she kept it to herself out of fear that her co-workers would think she lost her mind.

“I started seeing shimmery lights…and it was kind of misty and that’s when I first saw angels there,” Leonardi said. “And I didn’t say anything to the guys because you can imagine if I would have said, ‘I just saw angels on the crash site,’ they’d have called the office and they’d have said, ‘She lost her mind and tell her to go home.’”

They were dressed as if they were in warrior garb like a Roman centurion, she said. There were so many of them, you couldn’t see their faces. She continued to see flickers of light, each angel guarding the crash site. Her hope in sharing her story is that people would know that God was present on 9/11.

10 THINGS SMART PEOPLE NEVER SAY

10 THINGS SMART PEOPLE NEVER SAY

I’m not talking about shocking slips of the tongue, off-color jokes, or politically incorrect faux pas. These aren’t the only ways to make yourself look bad. Often it’s the subtle remarks — the ones that paint us as incompetent and unconfident — that do the most damage.

No matter how talented you are or what you’ve accomplished, there are certain phrases that instantly change the way people see you and can forever cast you in a negative light. These phrases are so loaded with negative implications that they undermine careers in short order.

“This is the way it’s always been done”

Technology-fueled change is happening so fast that even a six-month-old process could be outdated. Saying this is the way it’s always been done not only makes you sound lazy and resistant to change, but it could make your boss wonder why you haven’t tried to improve things on your own. If you really are doing things the way they’ve always been done, there’s almost certainly a better way.

“It’s not my fault”

It’s never a good idea to cast blame. Be accountable. If you had any role — no matter how small — in whatever went wrong, own it. If not, offer an objective, dispassionate explanation of what happened. Stick to the facts, and let your boss and colleagues draw their own conclusions about who’s to blame. The moment you start pointing fingers is the moment people start seeing you as someone who lacks accountability for their actions. This makes people nervous. Some will avoid working with you altogether, and others will strike first and blame you when something goes wrong.

“I can’t”

I can’t is it’s not my fault’s twisted sister. People don’t like to hear I can’t because they think it means I won’t. Saying I can’t suggests that you’re not willing to do what it takes to get the job done. If you really can’t do something because you truly lack the necessary skills, you need to offer an alternative solution. Instead of saying what you can’t do, say what you can do. For example, instead of saying “I can’t stay late tonight,” say “I can come in early tomorrow morning. Will that work?” Instead of “I can’t run those numbers,” say “I don’t yet know how to run that type of analysis. Is there someone who can show me so that I can do it on my own next time?”

“It’s not fair”

Everyone knows that life isn’t fair. Saying it’s not fair suggests that you think life is supposed to be fair, which makes you look immature and naïve. If you don’t want to make yourself look bad, you need to stick to the facts, stay constructive, and leave your interpretation out of it. For instance, you could say, “I noticed that you assigned Ann that big project I was hoping for. Would you mind telling me what went into that decision? I’d like to know why you thought I wasn’t a good fit, so that I can work on improving those skills.”

“That’s not in my job description”

This often sarcastic phrase makes you sound as though you’re only willing to do the bare minimum required to keep getting a paycheck, which is a bad thing if you like job security. If your boss asks you to do something that you feel is inappropriate for your position (as opposed to morally or ethically inappropriate), the best move is to complete the task eagerly. Later, schedule a conversation with your boss to discuss your role in the company and whether your job description needs an update. This ensures that you avoid looking petty. It also enables you and your boss to develop a long-term understanding of what you should and shouldn’t be doing.

“This may be a silly idea/I’m going to ask a stupid question”

These overly passive phrases instantly erode your credibility. Even if you follow these phrases with a great idea, they suggest that you lack confidence, which makes the people you’re speaking to lose confidence in you. Don’t be your own worst critic. If you’re not confident in what you’re saying, no one else will be either. And, if you really don’t know something, say, “I don’t have that information right now, but I’ll find out and get right back to you.”

“I’ll try”

Just like the word think, try sounds tentative and suggests that you lack confidence in your ability to execute the task. Take full ownership of your capabilities. If you’re asked to do something, either commit to doing it or offer an alternative, but don’t say that you’ll try because it sounds like you won’t try all that hard.

“This will only take a minute”

Saying that something only takes a minute undermines your skills and gives the impression that you rush through tasks. Unless you’re literally going to complete the task in 60 seconds, feel free to say that it won’t take long, but don’t make it sound as though the task can be completed any sooner than it can actually be finished.

“I hate this job”

The last thing anyone wants to hear at work is someone complaining about how much they hate their job. Doing so labels you as a negative person and brings down the morale of the group. Bosses are quick to catch on to naysayers who drag down morale, and they know that there are always enthusiastic replacements waiting just around the corner.

“He’s lazy/incompetent/a jerk”

There is no upside to making a disparaging remark about a colleague. If your remark is accurate, everybody already knows it, so there’s no need to point it out. If your remark is inaccurate, you’re the one who ends up looking like a jerk. There will always be rude or incompetent people in any workplace, and chances are that everyone knows who they are. If you don’t have the power to help them improve or to fire them, then you have nothing to gain by broadcasting their ineptitude. Announcing your colleague’s incompetence comes across as an insecure attempt to make you look better. Your callousness will inevitably come back to haunt you in the form of your coworkers’ negative opinions of you.

Bringing it all together

These phrases have a tendency to sneak up on you, so you’re going to have to catch yourself until you’ve solidified the habit of not saying them.
