A sliver of sunlight is all that remains as I wander into the darkness of this chasm, I do not expect this light to last for much longer. It is cold, muggy and damp down here. There is no path down here except for a craggy rock formation that resembles a half constructed spiral staircase. The solitary mechanism leading me through these depths is a suspicion that somewhere I can find my intuition and shadow it all the way to safety. I come upon a concealed corner and I peek around it with caution. Wouldn’t you know it? There it is, my intuition barely reflecting a likeness to a light of hope through a narrow hallway. The maze of hazy reflection looks to be an opening towards a way out of this unfamiliar underworld, or it could be a direct path to hell.
The flashlight flickers violently against the constricted…

“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.” ~Marilyn Monroe
We are living in a world where we are able to form a virtual reality presence on a number of different platforms. Currently, we have YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and numerous other social media and dating apps available to us. Many of us use these apps recreationally for a healthy amount of time. Current research shows that 88% of 18 to 29-year-olds indicate that they use some form of social media, specifically, 78% among ages 30 to 49, 64% among those ages 50 to 64 and 37% among Americans 65 and older. It is estimated there will be 2.67 billion social network users by 2018. For those able to maintain a healthy and responsible relationship with their online presence this is a wonderful way to stay connected to others. It opens a…

Happy Friday Angels!!! I hope this message finds you ALL well and enjoying your day thus far. Are we ready for the weekend? I know I am and in doing so, I am preparing to be happier than I have been with a little help from my Mindfulness Masterclass at IOA. Let’s see if the below will work for us ALL should we need it:
Let’s try this Exercise together:
Exercise: Stop, take a moment, and decide why you are grateful to have things throughout the day. These things can be anything, but try to aim for at least 8 over the course of a single day. You can use this sentence to express your gratitude:
“I am happy that I have (this) because: ”
For example, “I am happy that I have my job because it provides me with the money I need to live”, “I am happy that I have my phone because it allows me to call my mother and text my best friend”.
You can also apply this to things that might seem bad.
“I am happy that it is raining because it helps plants to grow”
“I am happy I lost my job because it will allow me to change my focus and to find a job that I love “.
Part of gratitude is seeing positives, looking for ways to improve, and deciding why or how something can improve your life. When you figure out why you want something in your life it is very easy to be grateful for it.
My Angels, this is a process and one that I know we are ALL willing to work on whenever we need it.
ALWAYS with Light & Love!

“We must shift our allegiances from fear to curiosity, from attachment to letting go, from control to trust, and from entitlement to humility.”
~ Angeles Arrien
Imagine if we all did this, how the world would be different …
Lets commit to shifting our allegiances by checking in with ourselves today and every day:
From being fearful to getting curious
From being attached to letting go
From controlling to trusting
From feeling entitled to being grateful and humble.
This is mindful living.
Namaste
A little something I came across in my class at IOA on Mindfulness to think about… I know I will be considering the following as well:
If you’re stressed about something, stop, consider it, and ask yourself the following questions:
These questions will very quickly show you that many of the things we get angry or upset about, like being cut off while driving, don’t actually impact us outside of the moment they happen, yet we allow them to affect our lives for long after they step out of it.
The simple question “Why does it matter” might not redefine your life, but it can redefine how you approach problems, and how long you remain upset about them.
RELEASE… And Let It Go…Just Breathe
Hmmm…. Interesting Food For Thought Angels!

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet.
Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about
what makes the universe exist. Be curious.
And however difficult life may seem,
there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don’t just give up.”
~ Stephen Hawking

In response to Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge “Slim and Chance”
I took this photo in the autumn morning light in Pisa. I know that it is one of “those things” that everyone goes to see, but, up close it is the most extraordinarily beautiful piece of architecture.
We stayed for a while as the light changed and the shadows moved across the surface and changed it from a misty dream into a stark, classical marvel.

~~March 14, 2018~~
Stephen William Hawking, CH CBE FRS FRSA, (8 January 1942 – 14 March 2018), was an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge.
His scientific works included a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation.
Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.
He was a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.

The physicist, who died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at age 76, wasn’t expected to see his 25th birthday, after being diagnosed with the incurable neurodegenerative condition ALS at age 21.
Though Hawking beat the odds for more than five decades, the scientist told the Guardian in 2011 that death was never far from his mind.
