ALWAYS WITH LIFE, LIGHT, POSITIVITY, STRENGTH, BEING THE WARRIOR WITHIN, GUIDANCE, and LOVE.

ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL

I had my last two days volunteering with the Special Olympics on Friday, July 31, 2015 and Saturday, August 1, 2015 as a Production Coordinator in the Digital Strategies Department which was intermingled with media.  I met some very nice individuals (Shareef, Don, Jennifer, Pete, Sunni, Dorothy, Gil and Nancy) who helped make my experience very nice.  They were very helpful when I needed answers re a number of things that I was getting questioned about.

As far as the athletes – they were a joy to watch compete and an even bigger joy to see the photographs coming in that the photographers would capture.  The joy on their faces as they competed and crossed the finish line in their category was priceless.  Seeing these individuals with a smile so big and such an appreciation for life and competition is something most of us take for granted.  Watching each and everyone of these amazing athletes is a total inspiration to love your life, love where you are at this time in your journey and appreciate each and every minute.  They are OUR ANGELS!  Go dance in the rain if you want to, go run that eight miles if you feel up to it, love on your children and furry children all you want and by all means keep the faith and love.  Remember, everyone has something they are going thru, but if we all keep our positivity about us and reach out to one another in the spirit of compassion and just wanting to honestly help and be there, we can all get thru this life together and much happier.

This wraps up my adventures with the Special Olympics which was an honor and privilege to be a part of.  I am more than happy to give my service to such inspirational young men and women.

Until next time – continue to look up, have faith and know we all have our Angels around us.  Close your eyes, breathe in that fresh air and peace and you will feel them.

S.O. PASS

HELLO MY BEAUTIFUL ANGELS!

Good morning from Long Beach/Alamitos Beach where I am joining you via the Special Olympics!  Yes, why not blog as I am awaiting digital work from my photographers.  8)  The athletes are amazing and the volunteers that I have met are super nice.  Everyone is honored to be here helping out.

What a weekend! We had the opening ceremonies on Saturday and the first day yesterday, Sunday.  I was so tired that by the time I got home I slept 15 hours with no dinner.  I even missed my honey’s softball game that I like to go to in order to cheer him on.

With that, welcome to the last week in July, 2015. What a beautiful day to be here with you and enjoying the special day with such special athletes!!  Life is special and a gift ~ so no matter what you are going thru, please take time out to appreciate where you are in life and in the world at this time in your life.  It is a gift to wake up and “smell what the Rock is cooking!”  LOL!

Know that I am thinking about you all and wishing you all a fantastic day/week.

Cheers my fellow Angels!  With light, love and special guidance!
