LET’S BE HAPPY

Happy Friday Angels!!!  I hope this message finds you ALL well and enjoying your day thus far.  Are we ready for the weekend?  I know I am and in doing so, I am preparing to be happier than I have been with a little help from my Mindfulness Masterclass at IOA.  Let’s see if the below will work for us ALL should we need it:

  1. Recognize the things that make you unhappy or stressed
  2. Take steps to remove, solve, or change the things that make you unhappy or stressed
  3. Focus your attention on your actions and not on your thoughts when you are not deliberately thinking, so that you allow yourself to relax and be happy
  4. Recognize what you have and be grateful for it
  5. Find and break patterns that cause unhappiness or stress
  6. When you find yourself thinking negative thoughts about yourself, guide your attention elsewhere.
  7. Make time and room for being happy

Let’s try this Exercise together:

Exercise: Stop, take a moment, and decide why you are grateful to have things throughout the day. These things can be anything, but try to aim for at least 8 over the course of a single day. You can use this sentence to express your gratitude:

“I am happy that I have (this) because: ”

For example, “I am happy that I have my job because it provides me with the money I need to live”, “I am happy that I have my phone because it allows me to call my mother and text my best friend”.

You can also apply this to things that might seem bad.

“I am happy that it is raining because it helps plants to grow”

“I am happy I lost my job because it will allow me to change my focus and to find a job that I love “.

Part of gratitude is seeing positives, looking for ways to improve, and deciding why or how something can improve your life. When you figure out why you want something in your life it is very easy to be grateful for it.

My Angels,  this is a process and one that I know we are ALL willing to work on whenever we need it.

ALWAYS with Light & Love!

HAPPY

ANGELIC HAWKING

Stephen Hawking (per his Official Site):

“In 1963, Hawking contracted motor neurone disease and was given two years to live. Yet he went on to Cambridge to become a brilliant researcher and Professorial Fellow at Gonville and Caius College. From 1979 to 2009 he held the post of Lucasian Professor at Cambridge, the chair held by Isaac Newton in 1663. Professor Hawking has over a dozen honorary degrees and was awarded the CBE in 1982. He is a fellow of the Royal Society and a member of the US National Academy of Science. Stephen Hawking is regarded as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists since Einstein.”

Mr. Hawking also wrote children’s books like the one below:

SH Book

Per Mr. Hawking:  “In my latest book for children, “George and the Blue Moon”, George and Annie, set out to solve a mystery set on one of the cosmic waterworlds of space. Is there life under the icy crust? Where did those robots come from and who is controlling them? Meanwhile, my two young heroes win places on a Mars training programme which has a dangerous and unexpected twist. Suddenly, the best friends find themselves fighting for survival in what feels like the Hunger Games set on the red planet. Packed with space facts and essays from leading scientists, it is my most unpredictable thriller so far!”

Books

Professor Hawking has published many books tackling the fundamental questions about the universe and our existence. Stephen has also published many scientific papers and lecture notes.

My Brief History

Picture

My Brief History recounts Stephen Hawking’s improbable journey, from his post-war London boyhood to his years of international acclaim and celebrity. Illustrated with rarely seen photographs, this concise, witty and candid account introduces readers to the inquisitive schoolboy whose classmates nicknamed him ‘Einstein’; the jokester who once placed a bet with a colleague over the existence of a black hole; and the young husband and father striving to gain a foothold in the world of academia. Read more, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

The Grand Design

Picture

When and how did the universe begin? Why are we here? What is the nature of reality? Is the apparent ‘grand design’ of our universe evidence for a benevolent creator who set things in motion? Or does science offer another explanation? In The Grand Design, the most recent scientific thinking about the mysteries of the universe is presented in language marked by both brilliance and simplicity. Read more, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

A Brief History of Time

Picture

Was there a beginning of time? Could time run backwards? Is the universe infinite or does it have boundaries? These are just some of the questions considered in an internationally acclaimed masterpiece by one of the world’s greatest thinkers. It begins by reviewing the great theories of the cosmos from Newton to Einstein, before delving into the secrets which still lie at the heart of space and time, from the Big Bang to black holes, via spiral galaxies and strong theory.  Read more, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

A Briefer History of Time

Picture

Although “briefer,” this book is much more than a mere explanation of Hawking’s earlier work.

A Briefer History of Time both clarifies and expands on the great subjects of the original, and records the latest developments in the field—from string theory to the search for a unified theory of all the forces of physics.

Thirty-seven full-color illustrations enhance the text and make A Briefer History of Time an exhilarating and must-have addition in its own right to the great literature of science and ideas. Read more, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

Black Holes: The Reith lectures

George and the Blue Moon

Picture

“It is said that fact is sometimes stranger than fiction, and nowhere is that more true than in the case of black holes. Black holes are stranger than anything dreamed up by science fiction writers.”

In 2016 Professor Stephen Hawking delivered the BBC Reith Lectures on a subject that has fascinated him for decades – black holes. In these flagship lectures the legendary physicist argues that if we could only understand black holes and how they challenge the very nature of space and time, we could unlock the secrets of the universe.

In my latest book for children, “George and the Blue Moon”, George and Annie, set out to solve a mystery set on one of the cosmic waterworlds of space. Packed with space facts and essays from leading scientists, it is my most unpredictable thriller so far!

George and the Unbreakable Code

George and the Big Bang

Picture

Stephen and Lucy Hawking’s fourth book about the adventures of George and Annie.

Just as thrilling a book as all the ones before it, George and the Unbreakable Code also delves deeper and covers topics and ideas that the intended readers might not normally think about.

Overall, a brilliant book as always brought from the fabulous Hawking duo. See a review, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

Picture

The third book in the series, with a full colour set of photographs, illustrating the wonder of the cosmos, George and the Big Bang,  follows George’s adventures in the universe. You can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk

George’s Cosmic Treasure Hunt

Picture

The second in the series of children’s books written by Stephen and Lucy Hawking. George and Annie, the middle-school cosmologists, return in this sequel to George’s Secret Key to the Universe. You can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

George’s Secret Key to the Universe

Picture

The first in a series of children’s books that melds cosmology and adventure, co-authored by Professor Hawking and his daughter Lucy.

George’s best friend Annie needs help. Her scientist father, Eric, is working on a space project – and it’s all going wrong. A robot has landed on Mars, but is behaving very oddly. And now Annie has discovered something weird on her dad’s super-computer… You can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

The Universe in a Nutshell

Picture

In 200 highly illustrated pages, Hawking is pushing the frontiers of popular physics beyond relativity and quantum theory, past superstring theory and imaginary time, into a dizzying new world of M-theory and branes. Read more, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

Black Holes and Baby Universes

Picture

In his first collection of essays and other pieces – on subjects that range from warmly personal to the wholly scientific- Stephen Hawking is revealed variously as the scientist, the man, the concerned world citizen, and – as always – the rigorous and imaginative thinker.  You can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

On the Shoulders of Giants

Picture

On the Shoulders of Giants tells a compelling story, using original papers from Einstein, Copernicus, Galilei, Kepler and Newton. Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking explains how these works changed the course of science, ushering astronomy and physics out of the Middle Ages and into the modern world. Read more, or you can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

The Large Scale Structure of Space-time

Picture

A textbook for Physicists, this 1973 book explores two predictions of Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity: first, that the ultimate destiny of many massive stars is to undergo gravitational collapse and to disappear from view, leaving behind a ‘black hole’ in space; and secondly, that there will exist singularities in space-time itself. You can order your copy at amazon.com or amazon.co.uk.

God created the Integers

Picture

God Created The Integersis Stephen Hawking’s personal choice of the greatest mathematical works in history. The book includes landmark discoveries spanning 2500 years and representing the work of mathematicians such as Euclid, Georg Cantor, Kurt Godel, Augustin Cauchy, Bernard Riemann and Alan Turing. AS

One of the things I hear the most is that many are feeling that they are shifting, changing, and that they cannot see the road ahead. I understand this completely. I’ve been there.
We are witnessing an invitation to spiritual evolution, and it is one many have accepted–no matter the unknown and sometimes difficult journey we then have to take. So as a bit more of our light ignites and shines, another step is lit up. We continue on in this manner, only knowing how to go forward when we are upon the next choice. This can leave many of us appreciative for this rediscovered personal light, but still noticing the dark around us. Some may fear this, as anything could lurk there. Yet others may feel helpless that their ‘small’ light does so little. The dark seems too vast.
Remember that the light is not wholly on you to create. Every being has the capability of shining this light, expanding it until it meets the light of another. The light then compounds, reveals, and helps in deeper understanding. That’s all well and good…but how do we get there?
First, you stop. Stop right now. Stop letting a program of self deprecation, low self worth, holding back your talents, taking derogatory opinions as fact, desperation, validation need, eat-or-be-eaten mindset–take you away from the truth.
Second, remember. Remember who you really are. This won’t look like an ego pursuit of “being above it all.” This, perhaps, will look like stunned silence followed by a gentle smile.
Third, work. Inner work. Meditation and breath work can reconnect all lines of power within you, giving you clarity, broadening the scope of that light so that you not only see one step ahead, but the expanse of beauty that has been there all along. You’ll appreciate the beauty of where you are, because you might be there for a bit. Spiritual growth is no race. It’s a gradual walk where you continuously get to know yourself all over again.
Fourth, reinvent. In this new perspective, you can make new choices. You can create. You can love, and you can learn.
Of all Archangels, Archangel Chamuel can help you on this path of self love, alignment and fulfilling your own potential. From here, you’re steady enough to flow into the next chapter of this journey you were so convinced was a great idea at one time.
Again, I feel you. I’ve been there.
Check out this course on Archangel Chamuel to get your story going! See all other course offerings at Gumroad.com/angelsouls.
I thank you all for continued love and support.
Cheers to the light,

LORD GIVE ME STRENGTH & PATIENCE

My Angels… Have you ever had one of those days or weeks where everything seems to go wrong!  OMGosh….  it seems like everything lately that I do or work on something happens and in a negative light or vibration.  Lord Give Me Strength and Patience!

It has been so bad and upsetting that I have broken down and cried!  Sometimes it’s just all too much and believe me I do have my moments… everyone does.  But, in those moments I cry out and pray and talk to my Angels for Light, Love, Strength, and Power to overcome.  My Angels never let me down and I know deep down that there is something to learn out of this and this too shall end soon.

I call upon Archangel Ariel for much Guidance and Strength:

Archangel Ariel: “Strength and grace through kindness. Self confidence. Forgiveness”.

“You have great strength and compassion! The kindness and understanding that you give to others are a blessed gift. However, it is equally important to show gentleness toward yourself. You may see aspects within you that cause you worry or impatience. But every person is a child of God. It is by balancing all aspects of yourself with love and mercy that you learn to exhibit those same qualities to people around you.

You are far stronger than you may believe. The situation you find yourself in requires a very soft and sensitive approach. Archangel Ariel can help you stay strong in the face of any challenge.

Additional meanings of this card: “Self confidence. Patience. Self control. Forgiveness. Inner strength. Influence through kindness.

Archangel Ariel is the angel known for protecting animals, the environment, and those who seek to safeguard our world. Her name means “Lioness of God,” and she can inspire great courage in the hearts of those who call upon her, Archangel Ariel is also known to be an angel of manifesting the essentials of daily life. Call upon Ariel if you are feeling uncertain or experiencing a lack of confidence, and she will help you get in touch with you own inner strength.”*

Excerpts from Archangels 101 by Doreen Virtue:

“Dear Archangel Ariel, please help me connect with the healing power and spirit of nature.” ~ Doreen Virtue

“Ariel is a healing angel who works closely with Archangel Raphael, especially when it comes to helping birds, fish and other animals.

“Thank you, Archangel Ariel, for guiding me toward the best way for me to help the earth’s environment.”

Archangel Ariel is believed to be a leader of the Virtues choir of angels – those who govern the order of the physical universe, watching over the sun, moon, stars and all of the planets, including Earth. For this reason, Ariel is intimately involved in environmentalism. If you feel called to work in fields protective of the earth’s ecology, oceans, air quality, or animals, then Ariel can help you.

So much has been happening lately that its so hard sometimes to even talk about, write about, but I need to.  At times it’s just too much for my head and heart to handle.

My Angels… thank you for listening and Always being there!  I have been feeling out of sorts lately and know that I find my comfort here, with you, with my Angels, and keeping the Light in my Heart though sometimes others try and take it away.

Sending you ALL much Love, Light, and Extra Strength!

~ HVD ~ HAPPY HEART DAY!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY ANGELS!!!

Angel

My Angels, Happy Valentine’s Day!!!  I wanted to tell  you that (1) you are ALL LOVED SO MUCH and always watched over and (2) that YOU should always LOVE YOURSELF first!  You are your own Valentine each and every day!  So, you do have to have someone else in your life to make you feel loved as that love should come from within first for yourself and then and only then will you be open to receive love from another.  Others will see your Light and your Love and will not be able to help but want to be near you. So, wake up each morning, look at yourself in the mirror, and say I Love you – you are beautiful or handsome, you are a gift, you are a Light and you are special!  Start your days off this way and you will feel so much better about yourself and that day in general.

CHANGE REQUIRED

Good afternoon my Lovely Angels!!  And, Happy Wednesday!

Have you ever worked at a job where you would just love to move on and do something else, but you enjoy some of the people where you are, you feel you haven’t quite made a big difference yet (when you truly have already), and/or you have been there for so long that the idea of a change and leaving the familiarity of this place and the contacts you’ve made is a bit stressful to even ponder.  When someone thinks of something they need or need to have done they always know that you can do it and will.  They depend on you and know your reputation to be the one to go to.  That in and of itself is priceless.  That right there shows that you have, in fact, made a difference.  But, you have not been treated properly for a long time now, have not been supported in your efforts to grow, and you come home everyday irritable/upset/depressed and just not as happy as you used to be when going to do this job.  Sometimes, there are just signs that tell you deep down “it is time to move on” as Change is Required.

My Angels, life is too short not to be “happy.”  No matter what that happiness is for each and every one of us, we must all find our happiness daily.  And, if you are working at a particular place that does not in some way, shape, or form give you some sort of happiness or fulfillment then please listen to your inner voice and the signs that are giving you the guidance you require – the guidance you need.

My Angels, I say all this to tell you to please have “FAITH!”  Have Faith in the future, in your Angelic Inner Guidance, in yourself, Faith in this Life.  My Angels, you are always looked after and loved tremendously.  Believe in this, believe in you, believe in Faith, believe in your loved ones who are cheering you on and know you can do anything you set your mind to.

Now, Go and Spread Your Wings and Fly My Angels!  Fly so High and Never Look in that Rear-view Mirror except to wink and say “I Did It!”

Always with Light & Love!

I LOVE AFFIRMATIONS

WHAT TO DO WHEN BORED …

Hello my Angels… I find myself a little bored so why not go and take a tour of the world?  Through Google Earth I am able to visit anywhere I want to, especially the “New 7 Wonders of the World.”  I give you:

The Chichen Itza:

The genius and adaptability of Mayan culture can be seen in the splendid ruins of Chichen Itza. This powerful city, a trading center for cloth, slaves, honey and salt, flourished from approximately 800 to 1200, and acted as the political and economic hub of the Mayan civilization. The most familiar ruin at the site is El Caracol, a sophisticated astronomical observatory.

Christ the Redeemer:

The Art Deco-style Christ the Redeemer statue has been looming over the Braziliansfrom upon Corcovado mountain in an awe-inspiring state of eternal blessing since 1931. The 130-foot reinforced concrete-and-soapstone statue was designed by Heitor da Silva Costa and cost approximately $250,000 to build – much of the money was raised through donations. The statue has become an easily recognized icon for Rio and Brazil.

The Roman Colosseum:

Rome‘s, if not Italy‘s, most enduring icon is undoubtedly its Colosseum. Built between A.D. 70 and 80 A.D., it was in use for some 500 years. The elliptical structure sat nearly 50,000 spectators, who gathered to watch the gladiatorial events as well as other public spectacles, including battle reenactments, animal hunts and executions. Earthquakes and stone-robbers have left the Colosseum in a state of ruin, but portions of the structure remain open to tourists, and its design still influences the construction of modern-day amphitheaters, some 2,000 years later.

The Great Wall of China:

In 2007, more than 100 million people voted to declare the New Seven Wonders of the World. The following list of seven winners is presented without ranking, and aims to represent global heritage.

Great Wall of China (China)
Built between the 5th century B.C. and the 16th century, the Great Wall of China is a stone-and-earth fortification created to protect the borders of the Chinese Empire from invading Mongols. The Great Wall is actually a succession of multiple walls spanning approximately 4,000 miles, making it the world’s longest manmade structure.

Machu Picchu:

Machu Picchu, an Incan city of sparkling granite precariously perched between 2 towering Andean peaks, is thought by scholars to have been a sacred archaeological center for the nearby Incan capital of Cusco. Built at the peak of the Incan Empire in the mid-1400s, this mountain citadel was later abandoned by the Incas. The site remained unknown except to locals until 1911, when it was rediscovered by archaeologist Hiram Bingham. The site can only be reached by foot, train or helicopter; most visitors visit by train from nearby Cusco.

Petra (Jordan):

Built at the peak of the Incan Empire in the mid-1400s, this mountain citadel was later abandoned by the Incas. The site remained unknown except to locals until 1911, when it was rediscovered by archaeologist Hiram Bingham. The site can only be reached by foot, train or helicopter; most visitors visit by train from nearby Cusco.

~And Lastly ~

The Taj Majal:

A mausoleum commissioned for the wife of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the Taj Majalwas built between 1632 and 1648. Considered the most perfect specimen of Muslim art in India, the white-marble Taj Majal actually represents a number of architectural styles, including Persian, Islamic, Turkish and Indian. The Taj Majal also encompasses formal gardens of raised pathways, sunken flower beds and a linear reflecting pool.

My day has been quite active and I have seen so much and explored more than I ever thought possible.  What an awesome way to see these amazing places (for now anyway) until I can get there in person.

So, please go and visit for your self and explore Angels!  You will not regret it!

Always with Light and Love Angels~!~

10 THINGS SMART PEOPLE NEVER SAY

10 THINGS SMART PEOPLE NEVER SAY

I’m not talking about shocking slips of the tongue, off-color jokes, or politically incorrect faux pas. These aren’t the only ways to make yourself look bad. Often it’s the subtle remarks — the ones that paint us as incompetent and unconfident — that do the most damage.

No matter how talented you are or what you’ve accomplished, there are certain phrases that instantly change the way people see you and can forever cast you in a negative light. These phrases are so loaded with negative implications that they undermine careers in short order.

“This is the way it’s always been done”

Technology-fueled change is happening so fast that even a six-month-old process could be outdated. Saying this is the way it’s always been done not only makes you sound lazy and resistant to change, but it could make your boss wonder why you haven’t tried to improve things on your own. If you really are doing things the way they’ve always been done, there’s almost certainly a better way.

“It’s not my fault”

It’s never a good idea to cast blame. Be accountable. If you had any role — no matter how small — in whatever went wrong, own it. If not, offer an objective, dispassionate explanation of what happened. Stick to the facts, and let your boss and colleagues draw their own conclusions about who’s to blame. The moment you start pointing fingers is the moment people start seeing you as someone who lacks accountability for their actions. This makes people nervous. Some will avoid working with you altogether, and others will strike first and blame you when something goes wrong.

“I can’t”

I can’t is it’s not my fault’s twisted sister. People don’t like to hear I can’t because they think it means I won’t. Saying I can’t suggests that you’re not willing to do what it takes to get the job done. If you really can’t do something because you truly lack the necessary skills, you need to offer an alternative solution. Instead of saying what you can’t do, say what you can do. For example, instead of saying “I can’t stay late tonight,” say “I can come in early tomorrow morning. Will that work?” Instead of “I can’t run those numbers,” say “I don’t yet know how to run that type of analysis. Is there someone who can show me so that I can do it on my own next time?”

“It’s not fair”

Everyone knows that life isn’t fair. Saying it’s not fair suggests that you think life is supposed to be fair, which makes you look immature and naïve. If you don’t want to make yourself look bad, you need to stick to the facts, stay constructive, and leave your interpretation out of it. For instance, you could say, “I noticed that you assigned Ann that big project I was hoping for. Would you mind telling me what went into that decision? I’d like to know why you thought I wasn’t a good fit, so that I can work on improving those skills.”

“That’s not in my job description”

This often sarcastic phrase makes you sound as though you’re only willing to do the bare minimum required to keep getting a paycheck, which is a bad thing if you like job security. If your boss asks you to do something that you feel is inappropriate for your position (as opposed to morally or ethically inappropriate), the best move is to complete the task eagerly. Later, schedule a conversation with your boss to discuss your role in the company and whether your job description needs an update. This ensures that you avoid looking petty. It also enables you and your boss to develop a long-term understanding of what you should and shouldn’t be doing.

“This may be a silly idea/I’m going to ask a stupid question”

These overly passive phrases instantly erode your credibility. Even if you follow these phrases with a great idea, they suggest that you lack confidence, which makes the people you’re speaking to lose confidence in you. Don’t be your own worst critic. If you’re not confident in what you’re saying, no one else will be either. And, if you really don’t know something, say, “I don’t have that information right now, but I’ll find out and get right back to you.”

“I’ll try”

Just like the word think, try sounds tentative and suggests that you lack confidence in your ability to execute the task. Take full ownership of your capabilities. If you’re asked to do something, either commit to doing it or offer an alternative, but don’t say that you’ll try because it sounds like you won’t try all that hard.

“This will only take a minute”

Saying that something only takes a minute undermines your skills and gives the impression that you rush through tasks. Unless you’re literally going to complete the task in 60 seconds, feel free to say that it won’t take long, but don’t make it sound as though the task can be completed any sooner than it can actually be finished.

“I hate this job”

The last thing anyone wants to hear at work is someone complaining about how much they hate their job. Doing so labels you as a negative person and brings down the morale of the group. Bosses are quick to catch on to naysayers who drag down morale, and they know that there are always enthusiastic replacements waiting just around the corner.

“He’s lazy/incompetent/a jerk”

There is no upside to making a disparaging remark about a colleague. If your remark is accurate, everybody already knows it, so there’s no need to point it out. If your remark is inaccurate, you’re the one who ends up looking like a jerk. There will always be rude or incompetent people in any workplace, and chances are that everyone knows who they are. If you don’t have the power to help them improve or to fire them, then you have nothing to gain by broadcasting their ineptitude. Announcing your colleague’s incompetence comes across as an insecure attempt to make you look better. Your callousness will inevitably come back to haunt you in the form of your coworkers’ negative opinions of you.

Bringing it all together

These phrases have a tendency to sneak up on you, so you’re going to have to catch yourself until you’ve solidified the habit of not saying them.

GOD SPEED

Good Day Angels!  So sorry I haven’t been posting lately… I’ve been super busy… moving.  Goodness how I do not like packing up everything you have for a move.  But, we are almost done and officially move tomorrow.  Whew…  Now, if only my babies take to it well.  That stressed me out more – my baby kitties being stressed for days at a time after a move.  Do any of you ever have this happen when you move?  And, if so, what do you do about it?

I thought I would write today and say “Happy Friday!”  I have been ahead a day all week and cannot seem to get a handle on it.  LOL!

I hope you are all well, staying busy in life and adventurous and as always staying in Faith, Light, and Love with your Angels.  I have much to be thankful for and thank my Angels often.  The last two years have been just awful and I look forward to new changes, new beginnings, and a release of past stressors and disappointments.  Onwards and upwards my Angels!!!
